In-House Counsel
Brett Evans joined CROSS DEVELOPMENT in 2006 as is in-house counsel. His primary responsibility is to oversee the legal aspects of CROSS\' real estate transactions, including site acquisition/disposition, title insurance and leasing. Prior to joining CROSS, Brett was an attorney with Rattikin & Rattikin, L.L.P., a general civil practice in Fort Worth, Texas, with emphasis on commercial and residential real estate, home equity lending, corporate, probate, foreclosure and eviction law.
Brett, a native of Denison, Texas, earned his Juris Doctorate from Texas Tech School of Law in Lubbock, Texas, in 2001. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1998 from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. Brett is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Tarrant County Bar Association and Fort Worth - Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association. He currently serves on the board of directors of the TCU Fort Worth Young Alumni Chapter and the steering committee of The Gallery, the young professional\'s group of the Amon Carter Museum.
